Q: How do I find out how much space have I used?
A: To find out how many blocks you have used in your directory or folder, go back to your folder home using the "cd" command and then typing "du or "du -s". du will give an exhaustive list of space used by sub-directories in the directory tree. The last number is the total space used. The number is expressed in 1K byte blocks. Using du with the "-s" option will only give you the Total and omits the sub-directory listing.CQUEST » CQUEST FAQ » Disk Quota Questions » Disk Quota Answers
