Q: How do I get back (restore) a deleted file?

A: It is the responsibility of the account holder to make supplemental copies of important files for long term safe keeping. CQUEST does archive each server's hard disk(s) contents to tape regularly. If the deleted file has been on the server for more than one day, then it might be possible to restore the file. Please send an e-mail message to CQUEST at (userhelp@cquest) indicating the exact filename that you need restored and the date it was last changed or created. Please allow a few days for the request to be processed.
